Our Newport Beach thigh lift is a surgical procedure elected to redefine and improve the shape of the thighs through a reduction of excess skin and fat in the thigh areas.
What Happens After a Thigh Lift?
Following surgery, it is likely that you will experience some pain and discomfort. Dr. Wirth may prescribe medication to alleviate your discomfort. You may also experience some bruising, swelling and tightness in your thigh area. It will be necessary for you to wear a compression garment for up to four weeks following surgery to reduce swelling and aid in healing.
You will need to attend several postoperative visits with Dr. Wirth in order to monitor healing and protect against complications.
Recovery times can vary greatly among patients. You should be up and walking within the first week, but it is recommended that you do not return to work for at least three weeks following surgery.
Strenuous activities such as exercise should be avoided for at least six weeks following surgery to avoid stressing the surgical area. If you’re ready to learn more about thigh lift surgery in Newport Beach, our team can help.
