Reunion Ready – Brazilian Butt Lift
Certain things happen to a person’s physical shape as time passes. Some of these things are positive, and others…not so much. One of these changes may be that your backside has lost its former volume and curve. Despite exercise and diets, you’ve had trouble achieving the buttock shape you desire. However, rest assured that you probably haven’t tried everything! If you want to take back your backside with a Brazilian Butt Lift, Dr. Garrett Wirth will help.
To determine if you are an ideal candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift, you should:
* Have realistic expectations
* Be at a healthy body weight for your height
* Be generally healthy to tolerate surgery
* Have enough excess fat in two to three locations on your body to be transferred to your buttocks
Beginning ideally at least six months prior to your reunion, you should visit Dr. Wirth for a consultation to determine what your options are and to create a plan. While a Brazilian Butt Lift can be done just three months before the reunion, advance planning is generally optimal.
What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
Most people want to attend reunions looking their best. A nice dress and fancy hair and makeup can help you feel good about yourself, but it’s important not to forget a very important asset: your buttocks! If you want to fill out your dress just right, read on.
Brazilian Butt Lifts add volume and definition to your buttocks using fat transfers from other areas of your body. They are a viable option for anyone who wants to regain the youthful shape they had in the past, or who want a more voluptuous backside. Using liposuction, Dr. Wirth will remove the excess fat from areas of your body (such as your abdomen, hips or back) that he and you have decided upon previously.
The fat is then treated by Dr. Wirth and re-administered into your buttocks. Dr. Wirth will make minor incisions for the fat to be dispersed, and may use hundreds of passes with the cannula (through very few incision sites) to accomplish this because depositing smaller droplets of fat can help preserve volume. Dr. Wirth will use fan patterns to distribute the fat into your buttocks muscle and more superficial layers in layered increments, thus creating a more curvaceous and shapely backside.
How Long Is Recovery and What Does it Entail?
Dr. Wirth may instruct you to wear a garment that will lessen swelling in the time following your surgery. This is typically only needed for two to four weeks post-operation. Swelling may remain for up to six weeks after the procedure. Most likely, you will be able to resume all normal activities within four weeks, including exercise routines starting around six weeks after surgery. The amount of time in the garment and general protection of the Brazilian Butt Lift can vary with each person. Remember, you are not only implementing fat into the buttocks for volume, you are also giving up the fat from other areas and need time to shrink. Another great benefit of the Brazilian Butt Lift!
Recovery typically takes three weeks (six weeks before full exercise), which is why it is imperative that you begin preparation in advance and see Dr. Wirth for an initial consultation as soon as possible. Results are generally long lasting and do not necessitate further touch-ups, meaning your buttock lift will last for many more reunions. Dr. Wirth understands how important it is that you look and feel your best when attending a reunion, and will do his best to ensure that you are satisfied with the appearance of your buttocks.
You want your peers to remember you as curvaceous and youthful. A Brazilian Butt Lift performed by Dr. Wirth will help you leave that impression. Contact him now to get ready for a reunion to remember!
